I painted this nude for one of my martial arts instructors. In my martial arts we wear Brazilian pants called Abadas. These pants we have to special order from Brazil or go there and pick them up. Not only are they difficult to get they are also expensive. When my instructor went back to Brazil I was low on cash so I told him I would trade him a painting if he would get me a new pair. So he had me paint a nude of a Brazilian Samba queen Bandinghendrix.com

I do a martial art called Capoeira. This martial art was invented by the African slaves. Brazil has made this art form a national sport now. Here is a mural I did in our academy's wall where we train. The three men in the painting are 2 of the founders of the art form and our current mastre' now.
